On Sunday 25th of August the club are holding a inter club 40 over charity match on behalf of prostate cancer. The bar will be open from the start of play at 2pm. A barrel has been donated by the brewery, there will be a BBQ with venison burgers, bunny burgers and for the less adventurous, sausages. All proceeds from the day will go to prostate cancer and hopefully make everyone more aware of the condition.

Attenborough Cricket Club play on the delightful village green in Attenborough, Nottinghamshire.

We have 4 Saturday league teams with the 1st XI playing in the Notts Premier League, the 2nd XI in SNCL Division B, the 3rd XI in SNCL Division D and the 4th XI in SNCL Division H.

We also have 2 Sunday sides; the 1st XI now play in the Newark Alliance Division 1 after winning the Division 2 league title last year (2022) and the Development XI play friendly matches against like-minded clubs from Nottinghamshire & surrounding counties.

The club first achieved Clubmark status in 2006, was last reaccredited in July 2022, and has a thriving junior section.

Our Women & Girls section AKA Attenborough Starlings, re-formed in 2019, currently have a soft ball team and they have taken part in the East Midland Softball League.

Our Clubhouse was completely rebuilt in 2013 and provides outstanding facilities for cricket and the local community.
