About the Club

Attenborough Cricket Club play on the delightful village green in Attenborough, called the Strand. We have 4 Saturday league teams with the 1st XI playing in the Notts Premier League and the 2nd XI in SNCL Division B. We also have 2 Sunday sides, and an U19 development team. Adult training is on a Tuesday evening, and last year we had over 85 adult players registered.

The club first achieved Clubmark status in 2006, was re-accredited in October 2019, and has a thriving junior section. Last year we had 170 Juniors registered for All Stars, Kwik, or Hardball. They train on a Friday evening, and we offer fixtures through all of the age groups, against local clubs in the Nottingham area.

Our Ladies / Girls Cricket section started up in 2014, and we have 30 ladies registered for this season. They will play a number of fixtures throughout the season.

Our Clubhouse was completely rebuilt in 2013 and provides outstanding facilities for cricket and the local community. We have approximately 300 non-playing members. We regularly host representative County Age Group fixtures for Nottinghamshire CC, and host the National County U18 final each year at the end of August. We also host a number of touring teams throughout the season.

Opportunity

To present your business, brand and products to our membership, their families, the local community, and opposition teams every Saturday and Sunday throughout the cricket season, at the busy Junior training every Friday evening, and to be associated with a wonderful cricket club. To integrate within that community, and visit whenever you want, to eat and drink at the fabulous Strand on weekends, and some week-day evenings.
