In running a successful, developing cricket club here at Attenborough CC we face a variety of challenges. Many of them are financial, to ensure that we can continue to provide the best cricket provision possible for our junior and senior players of all ages and abilities. Cricket played and social activities enjoyed in a well maintained and developing environment, experienced by the players, friends, families and the local community.

We owe much of our success in recent years to the ‘non financial contributions’ of the cricket club’s volunteers, ensuring that we maximise the relatively small amount of funds we have available linked to a club of our size and standing. However, that said there are always tangible items that need to be purchased to ensure our club and facilities continue to develop.
Items that come to mind last year would be the new score box and roller. Going forward in the short and medium term the club will be needing to:

Buy new sightscreens
Repair/improve the training net area
Cover increased costs relating to our 3rd & 4th team home fixtures
Make a substantial contribution to installing a new hedge on The Strand
Buy a new mower

These items individually will cost £,000’s........

All of the above are in addition to the ‘usual’ annual costs (around £50k) incurred in running our cricket club and will have a direct impact on the continued enjoyment of playing cricket for Attenborough CC at all levels.

So, it would be great if you can help your cricket club going forward......
Here is how you can assist and get involved.........

If you or your business contacts, friends or family are able to help through sponsoring the club we would be pleased to hear from you. We have a wide variety of sponsorship packages to suit all budgets, examples being boundary banners, adverts in the fixture card and club newsletters, links on our website, event and match day sponsorship. All sponsorships offered are for mutual benefit.

If you are interested or know someone that may be, please contact Nick Allcoat on or Paul Shoemaker on or any of our Committee members for further details.

Thank you for your help.

Nick Allcoat
