As the new season is now upon us, I thought that it would be a good time to get a 'Spring edition' of Squirrel News (see attached) out to you all so that you can catch up on what's happened over the Autumn/Winter months re all things Attenborough cricket. Running a top cricket club is certainly an 'all year round' occupation these days as we continually strive to develop the cricket club on and off the field for the benefit of all - the senior and junior members, those who visit the Strand and for the benefit of the local community in general.
Thanks to Neil Francis for putting this Squirrel News together, and to all those who have contributed - there is a lot happening/being planned.
Look out for our first ever Beer festival (end of May) and please support our Grand Summer Prize draw (tickets available from the bar at the pavilion) - lots of quality prizes on offer!
Enjoy reading Squirrel News, and if you have any ideas or are able to help in anyway during the summer please contact me or any of the committee, we encourage anyone to get involved!
Good luck to all of our teams - Senior and Junior, and looking forward to seeing you all down at The Strand supporting those on the pitch, having a drink, making friends and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Enjoy the season..........
