Champion of Champions / Celebration Evening

In a fitting finale to a wonderful season for the club, the 1st XI were crowned 'Champion of Champions' in beating the Bassetlaw Champions Farnsfield in the play-off final held at Worksop CC. An excellent team performance resulted in skipper Dom Harvey lifting the trophy. A late flurry of wickets taken by Sam Clulow saw Sam being awarded Man of the Match - receiving a new bat from the sponsors.

The players then returned to the Strand where a packed pavilion celebrated the season in style. It was great to see so many players - senior & junior, VPs, supporters, friends and family from all parts of the club attend the event, witnessing an excellent firework display, BBQ & reduced bar prices!

The club wishes to thank everyone for their support throughout the year and are already looking forward to an exciting 2017 season.........

Byron Haycock - our overseas player for the 2016 season returns home later in the week. The club took the opportunity of presenting Byron with a gift to mark his time at Attenborough CC. Byron had a very successful season with us, finishing at the head of the SNCL batting averages. We wish Byron a safe journey home and look forward to him playing again for Attenborough CC in the Notts Premier League next year.
