Winning the toss and batting first Plumtree made a decent start until George Barker's introduction to the attack. Two wickets in two balls in his first over set the visitors back and they soon lost their top scorer to a sharp piece of fielding by Pete Bateman. Plumtree's innings closed on 112 for 8 from their 20 overs which looked to be about 20 runs short of par. George Barker finished with an excellent 3 for 22 from his four overs.

After the loss of an early wicket Charlie Smith 42 and James Grenfell 28 put on 66 runs for the second wicket. A mini collapse then followed but the result was never really in doubt as Nick Anderson-Pearce 24 and Pete Bateman booked the team's place in the final.
That final will take place at Caythorpe Cricket Club on Tuesday July 7th against Kimberley who saw off Bingham in the other semi.
