The 1sts returned to winning ways with a convincing win at Unity Casuals. Thom Murray starred with both bat and ball taking 5 wickets and scoring 40 odd to help overhaul a modest score from the hosts.
The 2nds seem unstoppable, extending their unbeaten start to 8 games against Beeston & Toton Sycamore and it was another personal triumph for Chris Allcoat with a second consecutive 100 off just 80 balls. He has now scored 475 runs in 7 innings at an average of just under 119 - phenomenal! Asked to bat we scored 253 for 4 with another half century for Gordon Airey. Beeston & Toton Sycamore were never in the hunt being dismiised for just 94 with Matt Ahluwalia taking 3 for 33 and skipper Charlie Simkiss 3 for 2 off 9 overs including 6 maidens. Scorecard
The 3rds game at lowly Basford Mill was cancelled due to the weather! One of very, very few game not to be played.
The 4ths lost out to Whatton & Aslockton on Long Lane by just 27 runs with 16 year old James Binnie taking a career best 6 for 31 and the Knights (Carl and Josh) taking the batting honours with 48 and 34 respectively in Attenborough's score of 149 for 8. Scorecard
