After being previously unbeaten our Saturday teams suffered a setback with three of them losing and only the 2nd team maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.
The 1s could only muster 134 against Hucknall and went down by 8 wickets. Scorecard
The 2s had a comfortable win against Ellerslie who were restricted by good fielding and their own conservative attitude as they scored only 170 for 2 from their full 45 overs. Gordon Airey led the reply with an unbeaten 75, Chris Allcoat continued his phenomenal start to the season with 36 not out and Allan Moss made 45. The 3s fared worse than the 1s making only 90 which included a 10th wicket partnership of 25 between Mark Walsh and Callum Turney to save a little face. Keyworth took their time in the reply before easing to an 8 wicket win. Scorecard
The 4s also lost but in a much closer encounter at Poplars. the home side made 159 for 7 in their 45 overs with George Barker starring with the ball in taking a 5 fer; his first for the Club. The reply fell just 22 runs short with Andy Waddle top scoring with 39.
