Disability Table Cricket & Girls Cricket

With regards to Phase 2 of our 'Inclusion Project', the club are able to report that things have progressed well since the end of the 2013 season. Table Cricket activities will start in February and we will also be looking to increase the clubs profile regarding girls cricket in the local community from the Spring onwards.
To help us deliver both of the above we are very pleased to inform you that Sue Moore has joined our coaching team. An experienced Level II
cricket coach who is now working towards the Level III award (Diploma), Sue has worked in Belgium coaching their Womens National team and has also supported in the training of the Mens Belgium National Cricket team. Sue has also coached the Belgium U11, U13 & U15 age group teams, boys and girls and set up and run Summer Cricket camps. Added to these skills, Sue has experience of working with those with disabilities. Sue joins the coaching team as a very keen volunteer and we are delighted to welcome her into the club.
The plan is for Sue to organise and deliver with our support, the Table Cricket activities, particularly working with those with disabilities in the New Year, and as the 2014 season progresses to help increase our provision for Girls cricket in the Community. Sue is also happy to help out with our Youth section where needed, - to help spread the workload a little - and will be available at the Youth section training sessions held at Bramcote Hills College from January onwards.
This excellent addition to our coaching ranks comes at a time when the club looks to develop further as the phase 1 building project nears completion. I am sure you will make Sue welcome when you see her in the coming weeks/months.
Best wishes
Nick Allcoat
Chairman
